One of mankind’s oldest tools, the sling has been used across the globe right up to the present day. We are here to discuss this fascinating weapon, its history, construction, and use; and we will share with you our own experiences as slingers. In this episode, NOOC (Andrew) and Kick talk shop with Correy Hawk. Correy (@organic.archer on Instagram) is a veteran of the US Marine Corps, and he was on the survival show Alone (Season 7). These days he teaches classes on traditional bow making at his home in Nebraska and sells bows and staff slings on his website (www.organicarchery.com). Listen in as we talk history, accuracy, hunting, and we compare bows vs slings and staff slings.
